What release of Avaya’s IPO? 8.1, 9.0, 9.1?
EICC V8.1 supports Avaya IP Office 8.1 and 9.0. Certification for 9.1 is in progress and will be released as part of our next service pack.
The NEC SV9300 and SV9500 have been available for some time. Are you saying that EICC Only supports SV9100 and won’t yet support SV9300 and SV9500?
EICC V8.1 supports NEC SV9100. Certification for SV9300 and SV9500 is in progress and will be released as part of our next service pack.
Does this product interact with Avaya CM3.1?
EICC V8.1 requires the Avaya CM to be at least at CM5.2 with AES 4.2 or Greater.
With the 8.1 release has there been any update to the Executive Insight application/plugin? If not, are there plans to updated it? We’re on version 6.2.
EICC V8.1 product enhancements were focused on the Infrastructure, Interoperability and Functionality of the Contact Center Suite. UC enhancements and an eventual replacement for Executive Insight will not occur until after EICC 9.0 release.
You mentioned reducing cost of owner ship. How?
Are you reducing the price of the licenses, cost of ongoing software assurance?
The discussion surrounding cost of ownership is not directly tied to software and maintenance, but rather the ongoing labor and overhead required to maintain the application day to day or version to version. When we discuss reducing cost of ownership, we are talking about improvements to the application that allows for a partner or customer to more easily adopt the management of the application.
Is the integration to the new NEC SV-9100 still basically a TAPI link or is it now a true OAI link?
Yes, EICC V8.1 integration to NEC SV9100 is still using NECs TSP as the CTI Link.
We are using Avaya CM 5.2 can we upgrade to 8.1 with our latest CM release or do we need to upgrade to Avaya 6.2?
CM5.2 is supported, but I’d recommend working with your Avaya Business Partner and local Enghouse Interactive Solutions Architect to ensure that the AES is on a release that is also supported. If they are both in a supported state, then an upgrade to EICC V8.1 would be supported. |
